About Resa From the opening act on New Year's Eve with a twenty-three piece orchestra at Harvey's, Lake Tahoe, or as Featured Singer with the famed "President's Men" at The White House in our Nation's Capital, to creating just the right mood in an intimate setting, Resa Hempfling's singing experience and vast repertoire allow her to entertain for any occasion. Her musical styling ranges from light Pop/Rock, Jazz, Latin, Country, Show Tunes and the great Love Songs of all eras to the Big Band music of the 1930's & '40's. She is a vibrant vocal stylist whose career spans a range of performances from the Broadway stage to recording, television and film. She has been the opening act for Glen Campbell, Jack Jones, Kay Starr, The Pointer Sisters and Mark Russell, singing in jazz clubs, concert venues and for numerous private and corporate events from New York to Los Angeles and internationally. RESA has toured overseas with the USO, has appeared in Las Vegas, Lake Tahoe, Palm Springs and Atlantic City, as well as being a guest artist at both The Kennedy Center and The White House! Resa has been a featured vocalist for 4 Presidential Inaugurals. These have been President Clinton's Inaugural Ball; his re-election Ball, 4 years later and President George W. Bush's Inaugural; his re-election Ball, 4 years later. She is one of the very few singers to be contracted by both Democratic and Republican Party Inaugural Committees! |
